Clear aligners like Invisalign have made straightening teeth far more discreet, and they're a great option for many people. But they aren't right for every case, and it's worth going in with realistic expectations on cost, time and commitment.

In the UK, clear aligner treatment typically ranges from around £1,500 for minor corrections to £5,000+ for complex cases. Treatment usually takes 6 to 18 months, and success depends heavily on wearing the aligners 20–22 hours a day. Retainers afterwards are essential to hold the result.

Before you commit, ask your dentist whether your case is suitable for aligners or would be better treated another way, what the total cost includes (refinements, retainers, whitening), and who is actually planning your treatment. A video consultation is a convenient way to get an initial assessment and an honest second opinion.
